Job Details:

Pay: Competitive salary plus 15% annual company bonus
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, Day role
Duration: Permanent

Job Role: This is a senior operational position with responsibility for day-to-day manufacturing performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery. As a Production Manager, you will lead manufacturing teams, ensure GMP compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager will work closely with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain functions to improve efficiency, reduce waste and support ongoing business growth.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Production Manager or senior manufacturing leader within pharmaceutical manufacturing
Strong background in leading and optimising manufacturing operations with a focus on productivity and cost control
Demonstrated ability to manage, lead and develop operational teams
Experience managing budgets and delivering against demanding deadlines and targets
In-depth knowledge of GMP, QMS, RCA, CAPA and regulatory cGMP audits
Lean / Continuous Improvement experience

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Degree or equivalent, ideally in a science-based subject
Experience within biopharmaceutical or aseptic manufacturing
Exposure to freeze-drying technology
ILM Level 5 (Leadership & Management) or equivalent
Formal Lean / Continuous Improvement qualifications

Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence, 5S, and TPM
Proven experience in a Packaging Line Leader role

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Lean or Six Sigma certification
Previous experience in a Packaging Line Leader position
