For the successful Transport Administrator our client is offering:
I. £18, 500 - £20,000 per annum (Depending on experience) II. 40-hour week - Monday to Friday - No shifts III. Great job with lots of varied duties
The role – Transport Administrator:
I. Co-ordinate the routing of vehicles to ensure that workload is managed. This includes meeting customer timescales, efficient routing of services through liaising direct with customers and then direct driver management. II. Resolve and deal with the daily problem jobs the routes encounter. This will involve sorting issues with drivers/ loaders and directly with customers. III. Act as first point for both drivers and customers to raise any questions or queries. Where appropriate refer queries to the Operations Manager. IV. Co-ordinate driver holidays and reporting of unauthorised and sickness absence to the Operations Manager. V. Complete administration duties
What our client is looking for in a Transport Administrator:
I. Working knowledge of transport functions and vehicle management including licence and CPC requirements II. Proficient in Office Admin MS systems III. Possess a ‘can do’ attitude
