For the successful Assembly Operative client is offering:

£12.50 to £13.00 per hour
8am - 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday
6am to 1pm on Friday
Temp to Perm opportunity
Immediate start

The role – Assembly Operative:

Assembling metal frames and boxes that surround electrical equipment
Fitting steel cupboard type boxes, doors, hinges etc.
Bending metal, Riveting, drilling, bolting
Reading Engineering drawings
Using hand and power tools

What our client is looking for in a Assembly Operative:

Previous experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
Experience in an assembly/production environment ESSENTIAL
Ability to read engineering drawings ESSENTIAL
Experience using hand and power tools ESSENTIAL

The Role -Assembly Operative:

Assembly of various parts.
Use of automated machinery.
Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

What our client is looking for in a Assembly Operative:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
Excellent attention to detail.
The ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to work well as part of a team.
Training provided.
