Recruit4Staff are proud to be represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work on their Civil Engineering Infrastructure project in the Penrhyndeudraeth area

Previous on-site experience in Civil Engineering/Construction as a Quality Engineer - ESSENTIAL

For the successful Quality Assurance Engineer our client is offering:

• Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
• Days role
• Permanent role

The Role - Quality Assurance Engineer

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Project Management System, supporting and advising the team on quality management issues
• Interpret and advise on quality system requirements for the project
• Utilising quality management tools and techniques to promote continuous improvement through the project team
• Coordinate the client's quality management team
• Prepare regular reports for the project manager
• Undertake internal project audits and supplier audits
• Reporting on audit findings, agreeing corrective action with auditees and monitoring close out of findings

What our client is looking for in a Quality Assurance Engineer

• Educated to degree, HND or HNC level (or an equivalent), preferably in an engineering or construction-related subject - DESIRABLE
• Previous on-site experience in Civil Engineering/Construction as a Quality Engineer - ESSENTIAL
• Hold a current UK Driving Licence
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering construction methodology - ESSENTIAL
• Strong practical knowledge of recognised standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or BS OHSAS 1800 - ESSENTIAL
• Computer literate (Particularly Excel and Word)
• Experience in the successful implementation and management of assurance and management systems
