Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Stock Controller to work in their leading facility in Newtown.
For the successful Stock Controller client is offering:
i. Permanent position.
ii. 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
iii. Up to 24 days holiday + bank holidays.
iv. £24000 - £28,000 per Annum doe.
v. Uniform provided.
The role of the Stock Controller;
i. Purchasing standard parts from approved suppliers.
ii. Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
iii. Processing pick lists.
iv. Control stock return process and associated procedures.
v. Quoting customers for parts, raising sales orders, subsequent delivery notes and organising dispatch of parts.
vi. Create new product records, set re-order levels and identify stock location.
What our client is looking for in a Stock Controller;
i. Experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL.
ii. Experienced FLT driver - PREFERRED.
iii. Basic engineering knowledge of pneumatics, belts, bearing, motors - PREFERRED.
iv. Experience of working in stock/inventory role in supply chain operation - PREFERRED.
v. Computer literate
