Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a plastic manufacturing company, in their search for an experienced Machine Operative to work at their Liverpool based manufacturing facility.

What our client if offering for the successful Machine Operative:

  • £12 per hour
  • £12.50 per hour (If you have a full in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence)
  • Working hours, 7-7
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Days, 2 nights)
  • Temp to perm opportunity

The Role - Machine Operative

  • Loading & unloading of production machinery
  • Carry out all tasks in line with health, safety and environmental procedures
  • Ensure that products are being made to the correct standard/specification
  • Complete hourly check sheets consistently and accurately
  • Perform impact and quality tests
  • Ensure that machines are running to the correct/optimised parameters
  • Report machinery faults, process limitations and improvement ideas

What our client is looking for in the successful Machine Operative:

  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing machine operative role
  • Experience of plastic extrusion - BENEFICIAL
  • Full FLT Counterbalance licence - BENEFICIAL
  • Hands-on experience within a production or manufacturing environment, specifically, setting up and operating production lines to specified parameters
  • The ability to follow instructions and use initiative
  • The willingness to learn and undertake training to expand your knowledge and expertise
