Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for 2 Power Press Setter to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

We are looking for people with previous experience on either a Straight Press or a Progression Press.

Previous experience with setting and operating transfer presses is highly advantageous.

For the successful Power Press Setter our client is offering:

  1. Starting pay rate of £10.50 - £12.00 per hour (D.O.E)
  2. Temporary-Permanent position
  3. Day shifts Monday to Thursday, early finish Friday
  4. Free parking
  5. Overtime may be required

The Role - Power Press Setters;

  1. Setting presses in line with production requirements
  2. Assisting with continuous improvement culture of the Company
  3. Provide support to in the event of press operational issues
  4. Promote Health and safety, safe working practices and good housekeeping disciplines.
  5. Ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
  6. Ensure Changeover times are kept within target times.
  7. Reading engineering drawings
  8. Working to different tolerances

What our client is looking for in a Power Press Setter;

  1. Experience of a press shop environment - ESSENTIAL
  2. Experience with Progression or Straight Presses - ESSENTIAL
  3. PUWER 98 Training /Certification - PREFERRED
