Workshop Fitters

The Package

A successful Fitter will be offered:

• Salary between £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
• Overtime (paid at time and a half over your standard hours)

The Role

• Fitting a variety of lifting and loading equipment onto commercial vehicles, from engineering drawings and instructions.
• You’ll be using a range of hand and power tools to complete set tasks, carrying out necessary repairs and replacements where required.
• Wiring, Bolting and Drilling to ensure safe installation and high quality of work.
• Adhering to relevant Health and Safety guidance.

The Fitter - Requirements

Essentials

• Experience in a similar environment involving the assembly, installation, fitting or repair of fitted equipment
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and/or instructions

Desirables

• Knowledge of Hydraulics
• Previous work involving maintenance or repairs of HGVs

This role would be ideal for someone who has worked in one the following roles:

Automotive Electrician, HGV Technician / Mechanic, Automotive Fitters, Vehicle Body Builder, Hydraulics Technician, Welding, Light Vehicle Repairs, Bodyshop Technician.
