Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Stoke on Trent

Please be advised this is working a 3 shift rotation (6-2, 2-10 & 10-6), you will also be required to work on a call out basis, in the event of a call out, should you be on site for a short period of time, you would be paid for a minimum of 4 hours.

For the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer our client is offering;

  1. Permanent position 
  2. Basic salary of £38,000 per annum, OTE over £40,000 with overtime and callout bonus

The Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will include:

  1. Responsible for all engineering repairs, preventative maintenance and project work undertaken to a high standard 
  2. Contributing to the database of planned preventive maintenance system
  3. Ensure the efficient and safe running of all plant machinery
  4. Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations at all times, including the referencing and reviewing of risk assessments.
  5. Recommend and implement improvements to optimise efficiency including the sourcing and development of new plant equipment.
  6. Maintaining factory services including: gas, electricity, water, compressed air, effluent, heating & ventilation. As well as compliance work for: gas safety checks, PAT testing, insurance work, lifts & lifting tackle, EICR checks, fork lift trucks, LEV, pressure vessels & compressors
  7. Provide electrical maintenance engineering support and information for the Technician’s to support machinery breakdown repairs
  8. Maintenance and development of the manufacturing operations and business needs.
  9. Supporting continuous and process improvements

What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
  2. You must hold an 18th edition - ESSENTIAL
  3. Multi skilled in both mechanical/electrical disciplines - ESSENTIAL
  4. Previous PLC experience - PREFERRED
  5. Ability to fault find on hydraulics and pneumatics.
  6. BTEC or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  7. City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
