Trainee Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for 2 Trainee Maintenance Engineers to work in their leading facility in Stafford Park, Telford.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently finished their studies in Engineering and are looking for their first role within Engineering, OR, someone who has some experience in Engineering and would like to develop their skills further.

Both of these roles will initially start on days whilst training, but once trained you will either move onto;

6-2/2-10 shifts Monday to Friday
10pm-6am shifts Monday to Friday

For the successful Trainee Maintenance Engineers our client is offering:

1. Basic hourly rate of £11.69 per hour when on days
2. Pay rate of £13.09 per hour (6-2/2-10 shifts)
3. Pay rate of £15.55 per hour (10pm-6am)
4. Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
5. Temporary-Permanent positions
6. Free parking

The role – Trainee Maintenance Engineers;

1. Communicate any planned maintenance to the Senior Management team
2. Investigate all equipment failures, recommend and implement improvements 
3. Participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
4. Assist with the introduction of new equipment which could include testing and trialling
5. Identify any equipment critical spare parts
6. Develop a relationship with key providers of spares, material and equipment
7. Conduct regular PPM on machines within production

What our client is looking for in a Trainee Maintenance Engineer;

1. Someone who is keen to find a long term role within Maintenance - ESSENTIAL
2. Previous experience within a similar role - PREFERRED
3. Certificates/qualifications within Engineering, preferably Electronics Engineering - PREFERRED
