Warehouse Supervisor

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading logistics business in their search for a Warehouse Supervisor to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Warehouse Supervisor our client is offering;

1. Permanent position
2. Starting salary up to £27,500 per annum (D.O.E)
3. Permanent afternoon shift Monday to Friday
4. 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

1. Supervise unloading of goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring vehicles/drivers adhere to site rules.
2. Check stock in ensuring accuracy of quantity and quality in accordance with documentation, report any discrepancies via agreed processes.
3. Ensure goods are delivered on time 
4. Responsible for a team of 4 staff within the warehouse
5. Manage returns process ensuring all rejected stock is identified and dealt with as per company rules/supplier agreements.
6. Ensure pallets are checked prior to despatch and the accurate completion of correct paperwork to accompany goods.
7. Keep up to date with Health & Safety procedures to maintain the security and safety of teams.
8. Ensure that the team carries out their duties accurately and in a timely manner 
9. Devote appropriate time to development and training of team.

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Supervisor:

1. Experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
2. FLT Counterbalance or Bendi license - PREFERRED
