Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company in their search for an Vehicle Fitter to work in there leading facility based in Telford.

For the successful Vehicle Fitter our client is offering:

  • Starting rate of £13.00 per hour
  • Working 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, early finish Fridays of 3pm, overtime available on a Saturday morning
  • Temporary - Permanent position
  • Free parking
  • Ongoing product training
  • Plenty of overtime available paid at T1/2
  • IMMEDIATE interviews for the suitable candidate

The Role - Vehicle Fitter:

  • Use of hand and power tools on a daily basis
  • Assembling  a variety of components to vehicles
  • Fitting shelving / wiring/ racking / towbars / lighting etc
  • Working from drawings
  • Ensuring all products are being installed to correct standards
What our client is looking for in a Vehicle Fitter:
  • Full Clean UK Driving License - ADVANTAGEOUS
  • Previous experience within auto electrics, vehicle mechanics or similar - ESSENTIAL
  • Own hand tools- PREFFERED 
  • Carpentry knowledge- ESSENTIAL

  • Use of hand and power tools such as drills, drivers, rivet guns etc
  • Assembling pre-cut components to vehicles
  • Fitting shelving / racking / towbars / lighting / flooring etc
  • Working from drawings

What our client is looking for in a Vehicle Fitter:

  • Must have experience in Automotive Electrics- ESSENTIAL 
  • Experience using power tools such as drills, drivers, rivet guns etc - ESSENTIAL
  • Be able to fit Beacons, Work lights, Inverters etc- ESSENTIAL 
  • Must be familiar with automotive electrics including wiring, soldering, connectors, batteries, and other electrical ancillary components- ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with vehicle conversions - PREFFERED
  • Ability to work from drawings / specifications - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience within joinery, carpentry, auto electrics or vehicle mechanics - DESIRABLE
